Powder Coating
I purchased a powder coat kit from Eastwood.
After having issues achieving consistent color results, and the setup/materials involved with anodizing, I decided to try my luck at powder coating. For my first attempt at powder coating, I used some brake pedal parts that I was unable to get a consistent black color using anodizing.
I found the powder coating process to be much easier than anodizing. While I believe the durability of the powder coating is slightly less than anodizing, I believe it will be sufficient for most applications I will use on my RV project.
Overall, I found the powder coating process to be pretty easy with consistent results.
